PORCELAIN VENEERS- Porcelain veneers can be used to create a
beautiful and natural looking smile. Veneers are made of fabricated
porcelain wafers, which are bonded to the front of your teeth.
They can help cover up stained, cracked or crooked teeth.
PORCELAIN CROWNS– A crown, also known as a cap, may be
used if you have a fractured or badly damaged tooth. Crowns will
strengthen and protect the remaining structure of the tooth. A
Porcelain crown offers a more natural look.
PORCELAIN BRIDGES - A bridge is one option to consider for replacing
a missing tooth. A missing tooth can cause your teeth to shift,
tooth decay and even gum disease. A bridge consists of replacement
teeth attached by one or more crowns on each side.
COSMETIC BONDING- Bonding is a process used to cover damaged
or imperfect teeth with a tooth-colored material. A special adhesive
is used to bond the material to the tooth. The materials come
in a variety of colors and shades to match the teeth around it.
Bonding can be used for improving the look of chipped, discolored
or unevenly spaced teeth.
WHITENING - Whitening may or may not be beneficial for you. If
you have had bonding or fillings the whitener will not affect
these materials. Also, yellowish teeth bleach better than grayish
teeth. In-office whitening will require more than one visit and
may take up to an hour per visit. A protective gel or shield is
applied to your soft tissue and then a bleaching agent is applied
to your teeth followed by the use of a special light. Take-home
whitening is another option.
